Leaving Ukraine – an account of how Russia’s invasion in Feburary 2022 changed one boy’s life

It’s early 2022 and Russian troops are amassing on the border with Ukraine. Few imagined that over 3 years later the invasion that followed would still be raging. Sue Johns, who spent over 30 years looking after foreign students in her own language school in the UK, felt compelled to come to the aid of those fleeing the bombing. She gives a fascinating account of how she helped one boy who came to stay in her own family home.
